About Vince
Helping managers become the leaders people want to follow
I'm Vince Sanderson, an international management and leadership consultant with over a decade of experience working with managers and leaders across the world.
My work is simple to describe and hard to do well: I help managers get better at the human side of their job, so the teams they lead become more capable, more motivated, and more effective.

"Most managers are promoted for being great at their job, then expected to lead people with almost no support. That gap is where I work."
— Vince Sanderson
My story
Over the years, I've seen the same pattern again and again. Talented people get promoted into management, then left to figure out the hardest part on their own: leading, coaching, and getting the best from other people.
I've made it my work to close that gap. Through coaching, training, speaking, and mediation, I give managers the practical skills and the confidence to lead well, and I help organisations build cultures where good leadership is the norm, not the exception.
I also work in schools, teaching these same human skills to children, because the earlier we learn how to understand and work with people, the better.
How I work
What you can expect from me
No jargon, no off-the-shelf theory. Just practical, human-centred support shaped around your real situation.
Practical, not theoretical
Everything I teach is something you can use the next day. Real situations, real conversations, real skills that show up in how you lead.
Human-centred
Leadership is fundamentally about people. I focus on the skills that build trust, accountability, and genuine connection within teams.
Tailored to you
Your business, your people, and your challenges are unique. Every programme, session, and conversation is shaped around what you actually need.
How I teach & coach
My approach
don't believe people become better leaders by sitting through endless slide decks.
My programmes are highly interactive, combining discussion, case studies, practical exercises, reflection, and real-world application. Rather than simply teaching concepts, I help people explore how leadership principles apply to the challenges they face every day.
My coaching follows the same philosophy. I don't take a purely facilitative approach where I only ask questions, nor do I believe in simply telling people what to do. Instead, I blend coaching, challenge, guidance, and practical insight to help people uncover their own answers while benefiting from the lessons I've learned working with leaders across industries and countries worldwide.
The result is learning that is engaging, practical, and designed to create lasting change, not just understanding.
